The restaurant offered very good food, making it a decent option given the remote location. The idea of a spa trip focusing on massages and total relaxation in the midst of the rainforest is appealing.

Getting to the hotel involves a long drive on a bumpy road, and arriving to locked gates overseen by an armed guard is unsettling. Dining requires advance meal selections and comes at steep prices, double what you'd find elsewhere, while rooms can have unpleasant odors, dampness, and limited electrical access due to solar restrictions.

Ecolirios provided an incredible stay in a pristine jungle suite, but I found the hot water limited during my shower.

The views from the bungalow were truly breathtaking, and it felt like we were

immersed in nature. The outdoor shower was a highlight, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Although the road to reach Ecolirios was a bit rough, the experience was otherwise serene, and the staff was incredibly helpful.

The natural immersion was stunning, making horseback riding to secluded natural swimming pools a highlight of this stay. The food was consistently fresh and flavorful, particularly the hand-pulled noodles. However, the long and bumpy drive to reach the hotel was quite tiresome, and the dining options felt a bit limited. Although the accommodations were spacey and charming, some areas had persistent dampness that detracted from the overall comfort.

Charming room, delicious food, with excellent wi-fi that made planning our next adventures a breeze. A beautiful picnic area where we enjoyed afternoon snacks in the lush surroundings.
